Our client, a church in Eleganza, Lagos is looking to hire a Facility Manager to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for the planning and coordination of all maintenance activities within the office and guest house areas.
• Responsible for closely monitoring of assigned maintenance task until closed out.
• Must be able to vet quotations submitted by vendors to ensure competitive price in favour of the company at all times.
• Responsible for submitting in a timely manner weekly maintenance budgets to the direct line manager
•Must maintain a detailed log of all company vendors, and must be able to recruit more vendors and blacklist non performing ones.
• Will be responsible for the maintenance and safe keeping of all company tools for work.
• Will support the Line Manager on all facility related matters as assigned.
• Must be willing to work extended hours should the need arise to ensure all critical task are completed.
• Shall be responsible for receiving every maintenance complaint or request. Required to create detailed log showing date of request and completion time.
• Expected to work in highest level of efficiency, showing ingenuity in resolving problems and honesty in all manner of dealing especially with independent contractors.
• Immediate notification of the direct manager concerning non-conformances and unusual events, particularly in relation to facility issues.
• Required to attend all company training and meetings when invited

• Academic Education to BS level minimum.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Must be living within the island.
