Position Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for leading the strategic transformation of Talenture from a shared services center into a profit-generating entity that provides HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations services to external clients. Reporting directly to the investors, the COO will drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and market expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Transformation:
o Lead the transformation of Talenture into a profit center, developing a clear roadmap for service offerings targeting external clients.
o Define and implement the strategic vision and operational framework to achieve profitability and market competitiveness.
• Operational Leadership:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of Talenture, ensuring that service delivery meets quality standards and client expectations.
o Develop and implement operational policies and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
• Market Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships outside the group, expanding the client base and revenue streams.
o Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
• Financial Management:
o Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics to ensure profitability.
o Monitor financial health and implement strategies for cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Team Development:
o Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
o Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Client Engagement:
o Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
o Collaborate with the business development team to create tailored service offerings that meet client needs.
• Performance Monitoring:
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive continuous improvement.
o Report regularly to the investors on operational progress, financial performance, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
• Education:
o Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in operational leadership roles, particularly in service-based industries (HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations).
o Proven track record of successfully transforming shared services into profit centers and achieving significant revenue growth.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
o Exceptional leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating diverse teams.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
o Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
